Warranty Terms and Conditions
Transferability of this warranty (based on original date)
SINGLE FAMILY DETACHED HOMES
You can transfer this warranty one (1) time, anytime during the life of the warranty. For this warranty to be transferred, the new owner must complete and return the attached warranty transfer card within sixty (60) days after the date of the real estate transfer to obtain the benefits of the warranty. WHAT IS NOT COVERED
Our warranty does not cover damage to the new installed roof due to any cause not expressly covered herein. WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER ANY PROBLEMS WITH NON DEFECTIVE SHINGLES OR Products caused by conditions or handling beyond our control. Some examples of conditions not covered by this warranty include:
Acts of God. Contractor shall not be liable for any damage, whether actual or consequential, or claim arising out of or relating to Acts of God, accidents, civil disturbances, delays in obtaining materials, delays in transportation, fires, weather conditions, hurricanes, strikes, war or other causes beyond Contractor’s reasonable control, including delays caused by any act or neglect of Customer, by any separate contractor employed by the Customer, or by changes ordered by the Customer in the work.
Damage to the Roofing System caused by alterations made after completion of application, including structural changes, equipment installation, painting or the application of cleaning solutions, coatings, or other modifications.
Improper storage, handling or other conditions beyond our control. Improperly designed or installed gutter or downspout systems, and any costs that you incur which are not authorized in advance by Total Home Roofing.
Any pre-existing stains/mold/mildew or damaged areas are exempt from this warranty. If internal damage occurs as a direct result of a new leak and/or water intrusion Total Roofing will exhaust all reasonable efforts to match new paint and texture to surrounding existing area but will not be responsible for re-painting entire room or house as a result of such repairs.
This warranty is specific to workmanship. All shingles will be covered under the manufacturer’s limited lifetime warranty protection plan. Any material defect claims can and will be handled by Total Home Contractors Roofing Division on your behalf directly with the manufacturer of the shingles.
Under the terms of this Limited Warranty, the manner of Compensation is at Total Home Contractor’s Roofing Division discretion and may be issued in the form of cash settlement for approved claims. All costs must be pre-approved by Total Home Roofing.
To make a claim under this warranty, you need to do so within thirty (30) days after you discover the problem. Please call 321-452-9223 24/7 and leave a detailed message with date and time of call.
